Paradev
An IDE for running and orchestrating many CLI coding agents in parallel, each in an isolated Git worktree.
About Paradev
Paradev, formerly Superset, is a workspace for running Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode and other CLI coding agents side by side. Each task gets its own Git worktree and branch, with terminals, a diff viewer and an in-app browser preview in one desktop app. It is made by Superset Inc. and the code is source-available on GitHub under the Elastic License 2.0.
What It Is
Paradev is an agentic IDE that acts as an orchestration layer around existing coding agents rather than a model provider. You add a repository, create a workspace, pick an agent, describe a change, then inspect the patch in a Changes view, run tests and preview the app before committing. The docs state that worktrees separate working files but do not sandbox processes or prevent merge conflicts.
Parallel Work and Review
Agents run in parallel workspaces, and a sidebar shows working status with completion chimes and dock badges. Reviewers can comment on diff lines and send feedback straight to an agent, use Design mode in the browser pane to pass element context to an agent, and publish Pages that teammates can comment on.
Automation, Remote Access and Mobile
Automations start agent sessions on a schedule or on events such as PR review requests, Sentry issues, Slack bug reports or weekly changelog drafts. Other machines can be added as hosts so workspaces keep running remotely. A CLI, a TypeScript SDK and an MCP server let scripts and agents manage workspaces. An iPhone and iPad app controls cloud workspaces or a connected computer, and the README says it requires a Pro plan and iOS 26 or iPadOS 26 or later.
Privacy and Platforms
The site says repos, worktrees, terminal output and agent sessions stay on the user's machine, and that Paradev does not proxy model calls, so users bring their own agent subscriptions and API keys. The desktop app targets macOS, with an experimental Linux AppImage and no Windows build yet. Git is the only required install.
