About Xcode 26
Xcode 26 is Apple's IDE for building apps across Apple platforms. This release adds integrated AI coding assistance with ChatGPT and native Claude account sign-in from the Intelligence panel, plus support for bringing your own provider keys. The assistant can answer questions about Swift and frameworks, suggest and edit code, help with refactors, and generate tests. Core IDE tools (build system, Interface Builder, Instruments, testing, signing, and distribution) remain part of the bundle.
