About Paseo
Paseo is an open-source orchestration layer for coding agents that lets you run and control agents like Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode from any device — desktop, mobile, web, or CLI. It runs agents locally on your machine and connects to them via a direct connection or an end-to-end encrypted relay, so your code never leaves your network. Paseo supports 31+ providers, offers full feature parity across all surfaces, and is built around keyboard-first workflows and real developer setups.
- Multi-provider support: Run Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, GitHub Copilot, and 31+ more agents from a single unified interface, each using its own native CLI and credentials.
- Cross-device control: Access and control your agents from desktop, web app, mobile (iOS/Android), or CLI — all with full feature parity.
- E2E encrypted relay: Connect to your agents from outside your local network using the hosted end-to-end encrypted relay, or bring your own tunnel (Tailscale, Cloudflare Tunnel, etc.).
- Local voice stack: Speech-to-text and text-to-speech run entirely on your machine by default; optionally configure OpenAI speech providers for higher quality.
- Git worktrees integration: Launch agents in isolated git worktrees so each runs on its own branch without touching your main working directory.
- Automatic dev server URLs: Each parallel agent session gets a unique URL based on branch name, eliminating port conflicts when running multiple agents simultaneously.
- Keyboard-first UI: Every action has a shortcut — switch panels, split views, open agents, and navigate the command palette without touching the mouse.
- Fully scriptable CLI: Run agents, list sessions, attach to live output, and send follow-up tasks entirely from the terminal using the
paseoCLI. - Multi-agent orchestration: Chain agents together in loops, schedules, and orchestrator patterns — delegate planning to one agent and implementation to another.
- Self-hosted daemon: The Paseo daemon runs on your laptop, VM, or dev server; the desktop app bundles it automatically, or install headless via npm.
